We invite you to watch the eighth episode of the series “Behind the scenes of art”! This is a project by V.A. Gallery Poland, in which this time we talk about how to read art and whether understanding it requires knowledge, about the role and meaning of codes that artists use in their works, communicating with art recipients.

In an interview with Violetta Kowalczyk – owner of V.A. Gallery Poland, the guests of this episode were: Paweł Baranowski – publicist, educator, art expert, Wiesław Bober – artist, painter, co-creator of the Oscar-nominated film: “Twój Vincent”, Darek Łabędzki – graphic artist, caricaturist, architect.

 

“Behind the Scenes of Art” – is a series of meetings in which, together with invited guests from the world of art – but not only – we discover secrets, learn secrets, solve puzzles, that is, bring the world of art closer. We focus on what is little known, ambiguous, controversial, i.e. what is happening behind the scenes of the artistic world. The aim of the project – promotion of art and its creators: painters, sculptors, graphic designers, photographers in the current, difficult reality. The task has a cognitive, educational and promotional aspect, it contributes to increasing the level of sensitivity to art, but also to increasing accessibility….
