“THE LIGHTNESS OF TULLE AND THE TOIL OF POINTE SHOES”

“The lightness of tulle the toil of pointe shoes” – the most majestic exhibition this spring. This time, the interior of Our Gallery was filled with imaginative, dance-like paintings and turned them into an exciting story about the ballet. Paintings by Agata Mikulska Sienkiewicz carry a huge emotional charge. The artist invites us to the world of inner ballerina life. We are interested in her fate and experience emotions associated with the performance with her. On the one hand, etherealness and ethereality, lightness of tulle on the other hand, and the titanic work carried out in the pursuit of perfection, which is paid for with sacrifices, pain and the title effort of pointe work. The exhibition was accompanied by a concert of classical music performed by Agata Domańska and Zdzisław Babiarski and a performance by three young dancers Sonia, Weronika and Janek from the Dance and Ballet School “Fouetté”.
