PIECE OF ART ON THE FACADE OF V.A. GALLERY POLAND!

After Bristol, Miami, Penang, Lodz and many others …. it’s time for Metalmex in Wysogotowo!

Where did the idea come from?

Source of inspiration?

It all started from Banksy. His murals. They captivated me as he did.
Curiosity fuels probably the fact that he is not known for his identity, that no one knows who he is and how he looks like!
This kind of art is, first of all – good, because intriguing way communication of creative thought and it has guaranteed quorum of customers, because on the streets of the cities are moving thousands of people.
Secondly – an interesting way to promote places that suddenly becomes recognizable.
Thirdly – one of the possibilities of covering what sauté not look good, for example: gray plaster which falls down.
This is also a simple way to artistic education, to sensitize people to the arts.
Only benefits – says Violetta Kowalczyk sp.j. PPHU METALMEX in Wysogotowo (Tarnowo Podgórne) The owner of V.A. Gallery Poland.

The decision about the creation of this unique mural on the front of the building METALMEX-in and at the same time the seat of the art gallery was made during the departure of the owner – Violetta Kowalczyk to Florida and what she has seen in Miami,
specifically in the cultural area known as the Wynwood Walls. On the the vast space, you can see dozens of intriguing murals, different size and style.
Most of them formed in the framework of the event – Art Basel Miami, which is increasingly recognized in the world

– The number of tourists, which were seen in this area speaks for itself, besides i’ve visited it twice to be sure that I didn’t miss anything – says Violetta Kowalczyk.

Who is the performer?

The author of the work is BEAta Pflanz – interdisciplinary artist, curator, critic, writer, She graduated from the Painting Faculty at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznan (Poland). „My passion is to create: paintings, drawings, installations, murals actions and happenings. It’s a passion and at the same time life.”

Her largest and most media work is a project „I LIVE IN MY OWN PAINTING” (2009), after transforming the walls – over 400m2(she create something new now, second time!). This multi-level project is: annexation of outer space which is also her own, converting the house into a gallery-ever-open, and the most important in this project is to open others in art.

The works were started in the second half of August. Mural took shape in 15 days, both on the facade of the building and in the imagination of people passing the street in Wysogotowo. The project has just been finished! On the front Metalmex appeared – flavored with fantasy – “piece of body” and “piece of furniture”.
