PAINTING OF HENRYK STAŻEWSKI FOR A MILLION EURO!
Today at At 19:30, a painting by Henryk Stażewski was sold at the Milan branch of Sotheby’s for over one million euros!
The exciting bidding stopped at 800,000. euro!

It is the most expensive work by Stażewski in the history of the auction market – the previous record was set at Desa Unicum in December 2020 (PLN 1,180,000 including the auction fee) for the work “White-Black-Purple Relief” from 1963.

The work “Relief No. 8” with dimensions of 150 x 150 x 12 cm comes from 1969. Work since 1974 was located in Italy.
