Sebastian Pietkiewicz – a graduate of the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw and post-graduate of Stage design.
He worked as a designer at ” Sudety Crystall Works ” in Szczytna (Lower Silesia), Glass factory in Ząbkowice – Dąbrowa Górnicza, Crystall Glass Factory in Zawiercie (Silesia). Next he worked for the Crystall Glass Factory “Julia” in Piechowice (Lower Silesia) where in 2013 he became a main designer.
“I am interested in the process of creation glass, the moment of cooling the hot flexible glass that turns into a particular object -useful and functional.”
He has participated in numerous exhibitions for example in the Czech Republic, Poland, France, Romania and USA. “In the products of crystal glass, I emphasize minimalism of form and decoration.
In design the most important thing for me is the functionality of the objects.”  In collaboration with Leroy Merlin and Institute of Industrial Design, he designed module flower pots for orchids as part of the “Well designed ” campaign, 2011.
